HelloWorld was selected as one of the winning companies in the AI+Taipei Startup Pitch Contest, an international startup contest organized by the Department of Economic Development Taipei City Government (DOED).
We introduced WorldClassroom, an international online exchange platform and an English learning tool with AI-based speaking scoring function. The online international exchange provided by WorldClassroom has been widely adopted by schools in Taiwan, with 140 partner schools in Taiwan.
WorldClassroom was selected as a winner for its high quality online international exchange and its learning impact, which has been spreading by word of mouth among teachers in Taiwan.
With this award, we will expand our service in the Taiwanese market and increase educational opportunities for children.
DOED holds an international startup contest every year as part of the “international talent exchange plan”, which aims to promote international talent cultivation and industrial cooperation. For this contest, DOED sets its sight on AI innovation.
It aims to promote the development of the AI industry and investment opportunities in the Taiwanese market by not only providing startups and entrepreneurs with opportunities to demonstrate their originality and potential, but also encouraging them to collaborate with experts, relevant industry organizations, and other companies in the AI field.
