HelloWorld Cultural Exchange Featured on The Hokkaido Shimbun Press

The Hokkaido Shimbun Press has featured the HelloWorld and Hokkaido University co-sponsored “HelloWorld Cultural Exchange for Entrepreneurship” project, covering the students’ accounts on their participation.

Between the end of December 2023 and the beginning of January 2024, the “HelloWorld Cultural Exchange for Entrepreneurship” project was held for a total of 4 days, split in a preliminary lecture at Hokkaido University on December 27th and three days of intercultural exchange in Okinawa from January 9th to January 11th. During the project, high school students from Hokkaido had the chance to fly over to Okinawa, where international families welcomed them to a homestay experience; the participants also attended workshops on multicultural coexistence, SDGs and entrepreneurship.

Among the comments voiced by the students, the following stands out as representative of their common experience:

Through this project, I was able to come across multiple values and perspectives; I was inspired not only from different cultures but also from the other participants

HelloWorld will continue to strengthen its partnerships with other companies and organizations, and is committed to deliver international exchange opportunities through its HelloWorld Cultural Exchange program to all children, everywhere.
