Our English learning and international exchange platform “WorldClassroom,” which connects classrooms around the world, has newly released an AI English conversation function (beta version) for educational settings.
This new function aims to significantly improve students’ “speaking skills” by engaging in impromptu interactions with AI characters. It has also been selected for the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology’s “FY2024 Project to Strengthen English Education through Elementary, Junior High, and High Schools.” Through this project, we plan to introduce WorldClassroom to approximately 70 schools nationwide and about 13,000 students, and conduct empirical research with local governments, schools, and teachers. (*It has also been selected for the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry’s “Exploration and School Affairs Reform Support Subsidy 2025.”)
