Mie English Day Camp officially supported by Mie Prefectural Government

HelloWorld, Inc., will host “Mie English Day Camp” on Saturday, November 9, 2024 with the support of Mie Prefectural Board of Education.

“Mie Prefecture Education Vision”

This event is based on the “Promotion of Global Education,” one of the goals of the “Mie Prefecture Education Vision” formulated by the Mie Prefectural government and the Mie Prefectural Board of Education in March 2024 as a new guideline for education. It aims to help children develop the ability to play an important role both locally and globally with global perspectives and aspirations.

Aim of Activity

“Mie English Day Camp” creates a chance for children to enjoy learning English, to be inspired to learn English in the future, and to develop their public-speaking skills.

We will have a scavenger hunt-style activity, “Mie English Quest”, during the Day Camp. English Speakers of various nationalities team up with 5~6 Japanese students to explore an area of the town by completing a list of missions. The students are expected to learn practical English expressions and develop their ability to communicate in English, increasing their interest in English learning.
